The Hallmark Channel has revealed its 2025 Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas premieres. A new series, Mistletoe Murders, already started on October 17th, but new movies are still upcoming.

Netflix's KPop Demon Hunters: Sing-Along Event was the box office winner this weekend. It made at least $18 million in 1,700 theaters according to Box Office Mojo. The animated film from Sony Pictures Animation is the first box office win for Netflix.

Weapons won the U.S. weekend box office with a $43.5 million domestic take. The film was helped by its A- CinemaScore and great reviews. It also had a strong viral campaign that started months ago as Collider notes.

Here are some highlights of the 2024 celebrity Halloween costumes. Heidi Klum continued her pattern of elaborate Halloween costumes and went as E.T. with her husband. Janelle Monae was also E.T. but her costume was less detailed than Heidi's.

Challengers starring Zendaya has topped the box office. It opened with $15 million which was enough to defeat Unsung Hero, which made $7.8 million. Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire was third with a $7.2 million take during its 5th weekend in theaters.

Heart of the the Hunter was the most popular movie on Netflix for the week ending March 31, 2024. The South African thriller follows a retired assassin (Bonko Khoza) who returns to action after a government conspiracy is revealed to him by the daughter of an old friend.
